12 YEARS AND OVER

An enigmatic series of murders is terrorizing the inhabitants of Devonshire. A menacing spirit lurks in the desolate moors surrounding England's cliffs. In the form of a bloodthirsty beast, it feeds on the trembling flesh of the Baskerville heirs. The famous detective Sherlock Holmes and his faithful sidekick Watson use all their "elemental" powers of deduction to solve the terrifying mystery that confronts them.
This playfully dizzying adaptation of Sherlock Holmes and the Hound of the Baskervilles has been performed to great acclaim in the UK since 2012 by its creators, Peepolykus. Le Théâtre advienne que Pourra has appropriated this show, which relies on the prowess of three performers to play fifteen characters.

"Watson, you don't suck. You're not a light, my friend, but you're a conductor of light. Some people without genius have the remarkable power to stimulate it, to illuminate it.

A WORD FROM THE DIRECTOR

-Play-

"We went back to the classroom once again to create, invent and work with our raw material: young people. We tried to find a protagonist who would bring us together. We searched for a long time. Tackling Sherlock Holmes is a real challenge. We absolutely had to retain the "British" humor of the original authors. We wanted to stage our own show, unique and different. To our knowledge, no French-language production featuring the famous detective had ever seen the light of day in Quebec. As with D'Artagnan, there was also a selfish pleasure in staging Sherlock Holmes, in getting together with friends and playing the greatest detective of all time. It's a contagious pleasure that we wanted to share with you.
