Following a shipwreck, twins Viola and Sebastian are stranded in two different places on the Illyrian coast. To ensure her survival, Viola adopts the guise of a man, takes the name Cesario and presents herself to the Duke. The Duke, madly in love with Countess Olivia, who rejects her advances, sends Cesario to convince her of his love. But Olivia soon falls under Cesario's spell, and he is not insensitive to Duke Orsino. The arrival of Sebastian and his uncanny resemblance to Viola/Cesario leads to a series of misunderstandings and miscommunications, not least thanks to Feste, the jester.

The night of kings

"And they lived happily ever after... perhaps for a long time. They never forgot to live before they died, to love before they hated, to hear before they said... When obstacles abound, passions grow...

To love is to exist stronger and longer

Let's dance, laugh, drink...

...before it all stops".

- FESTE

A WORD FROM THE DIRECTOR

-The need to love-

"Dear Will,
An unexpected brother whom I meet again with an intoxicating desire to live. Your stories awaken my imagination, reveal my innermost self. At your side, I laugh, I cry, I marvel. I try to understand the world. My world. You confront me and offer me absolute, vital freedom. A freedom that reveals my vertigo. A vertigo of love and solitude. A fury that rages within us all. A storm that's never far away. It taunts us, approaches us and engulfs us. It tests our need to love. To be loved. To love ourselves. To love a boy, to love a girl... To love a BEING. No matter its sex, its origin. Just to love. All night long. All your life. Over and over and over."
